Seven-layer waterfall, also called Pongour, belongs to Duc Trong district, Lam Dong province. This is one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Vietnam with 40m in height and 100m in width. Water streams flowing down across the seven-layer mountain make up an either impressed or wonderful scene.
The surrounding is covered with a green primeval forest system which is full of diversified and abundant floristic compositions. Particularly, on January 15th (according to Lunar calendar), the young girls and boys from lots of places come here to join in the festivals which leave this place a lively and happy atmosphere.
Ban Gioc waterfall
Ban Gioc waterfall is considered as the fourth biggest waterfall in the world. This fall lies in Dam Thuy commune, Trung Khanh district, Cao Bang province which comprises of two parts. In which, the Southern part is called the high fall having a small amount of water; while the low fall locates at the North of the border between Vietnam and China.
The low fall is about 100m in height and 60m in depth. In the middle of the fall, there’s a mound covered with plants and separates the fall into three main flows.
When being looked far from away, the waterfall appears to be a white layer of silk covered with a floristic composition around the edge of the forest. This creates an extremely wonderful landscape like a fairyland.
Tac Tinh waterfall
Tac Tinh waterfall locates in Lai Chau province. This is among the top tourist destinations appealing to both domestic and foreign visitors. To come here, visitors have to pass through a track which is 150 in length.
However, their efforts will be required with a magnificent, unspoiled, secret waterfall and a thin white layer of water vapor among the great scene of the forest.
Thuy Tien waterfall
Located in the area of Dak Lak province, Thuy Tien waterfall is also known as three-layer waterfall, belongs Era Puk commune, Krong Nan district. Among waterfalls in Dak Lak province, it is considered as a beautiful and poetic landscape like an oil painting.
This fall comprises of three layers of water together with magnificent, unspoiled scene and unique-shaped stones. Besides, there are lots of intersection roots which make people speechless when seeing this great scene.

May waterfall is 100m in height flowing down nine continuous water layers that make up delicate water streams. Legend has it that nine fairies came here to bathe.
After that, each fairy left a footprint; and on the whole, there were nine footprints which represented for “nine love footsteps.” Consequently, it is believed that if any couples come here to take a bath, their love relationship will be closer and they might get married soon.
